From 1 Dec 2026 MOM makes four heat-stress measures mandatory for outdoor workers exposed to heat, including a heat-stress training programme, cool water and emergency cooling. The Workplace Fairness Act 2025 (covering disability and mental health conditions) is targeted to commence around end-2027.

Singapore has no forestry industry and no forestry-specific fatigue rule. The relevant work is tree care and landscaping for parks and streets - chainsaws, work at height and heat exposure - carried out under the baseline safety duty and Employment Act hours caps for workers within the salary thresholds.

Singapore has no commercial forestry sector. The National Parks Board manages nature reserves and urban greenery; arborist and landscaping contractors fall under MOM and the baseline safety and employment law.
